Latinx Remake of “GET OUT” Part I

In trying to conceptualize how Jordan Peele’s “Get Out” would play out if it had featured a non-Black Latinx family, I came to the sad conclusions that, really, there wouldn’t be much of a film to begin with. The scene depicted in this comic may seem hyperbolic and exaggerated, but once you start examining all the unspoken rules in non-Black Latinx families relating to sexuality, dating, and marriage, ESPECIALLY for womxn, that the nastiness of anti-blackness always rears its ugly head.

Take some time to reflect. We all know this is true.
