For Generations to Come
This morning, I want everyone who reads this stopping for a moment and try to contemplate the following: how much generational damage is the United States causing Central American migrants, in particular, children and youth? As you read the comic today, consider that the first five panels are facts. Since 2014 when the Unaccompanied Child Migrant supposedly began, the U.S. has been systematically and viciously targeting migrant children, both in the U.S. and in Mexico as a “deterrent.”
Has it worked? No. People are still coming over because they have no other choice. But as conditions for migrants keeps worsening, I fear that this society’s tolerance for their suffering will just keep growing.
