Why I’m With My Partner
Back in November of 2017, my partner and I went to an Ibeyi concert and what should have been a magical and transcendental evening, was ruined by this white girl next to us who, on top of ritualistically dancing and space-taking like she’s at Burning Man, also kept sneezing and wheezing the whole goddamned time. She even sprayed on my arm at one point.
So this conversation is 100% and one of the many reasons I adore my partner. There’s something very comforting about Smart, sarcastic, Salvi wit.
