Degoyados

When Donald Trump began his presidential campaign in 2015, his announcement was accompanied by all manner of racist remarks about Mexicans. The immediate backlash was so enormous, that Trump was forced to take a step back and rethink his strategy. A year later in 2016, Trump received an invitation from Mexican president Enrique Peña Nieto to come to visit Mexico. Both leaders came to an agreement: in order to preserve the economic and political relationship between the United States and Mexico, Central American migration would serve as the bargaining chip between both nation states. Mexico re-committed to being America’s partner in crimes against humanity.

In December of 2016, newly elected President Trump spoke to TIME Magazine and focused his racism on Central Americans. In January of 2017, he announced that Central Americans migrants posed a threat not only to the U.S., but to Mexico as well. Over the next four years, the Trump administration almost exclusively vilified and criminalized Central Americans using the bogeyman of MS-13, terrorizing migrant youth, and even calling El Salvador a shit hole.

Yesterday, so-called leftist Mexican President Andrés Manuel López-Obrador was received with open arms by Trump. Trump even spoke warmly about the goodness of Mexicans. Present at this meeting was also the CEO of GOYA Foods who openly praised Donald Trump.

Whenever Mexico and the United States meet as collaborators, whether it’s Obama and Peña Nieto (EPN), or EPN and Trump, or Trump and AMLO, the alignment of their interests will always result in the continued subjugation of Central America.

In the meantime, f*ck GOYA and all their products. #BoyCottGoyaFoods
