Dichos de un Bicho is going to University of Oregon!

Good morning! So late last year, the organizers from MECHA de University of Oregon reached out to ask if I would be interested in participating in their 2019 youth conference given that part of its central themes would be to better understand Central Americans and challenging the Mexican hegemony.

And so, I very happy to announce that myself and my friend, comrade, and all-around badass chapina scholar, Carla Osorio, will be co-keynote speakers for the 15th Annual Raza Unida Youth Conference! I was also tapped to design the artwork and t-shirts for the conference, hence, why our Central American birds are out playing in the woods of the Pacific Northwest.
